All around the world healthcare is becoming more expensive and budgets are more stretched than ever. Any new technology that can significantly improve efficiency is sure to be welcomed with open arms across the industry. This is what is happening with 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Specialized tools that used to take several weeks to produce can now be 3D printed and delivered within 2 days. Accurate physical models can be produced at short notice to help surgeons prepare for operations (see case study ). These are steps forward that not only improve efficiency, but can also save lives. ProtoFab has extensive experience in this field and is familiar with the special rigors of producing medical equipment and models.
We are one of the first Protofab branches in the world. We have recently launched our first showroom in Norway, and currently are also opening a branch in Poland. We can be reached from all over Northern Europe, a short distance from Sandefjord Airport (Near Oslo).
